Yeadon
Town Hall CIC
About
Yeadon Town Hall CIC is a 'Community Interest Company' first formed in 2018. The company is run by Jamie Hudson who is passionate about Yeadon Town Hall, its heritage and the community it serves. The company is not for profit, and operates with similar values to a charity, however, carries on it's day to day operation like a business. We do not receive any regular funding from the local authority or the Arts Council.

The purpose of the company is to:
-
Take responsibility for, improve and maintain the entire building.
-
Serve the community of Yeadon and beyond by offering a range of events, theatre, creative arts, cinema, live music events and much more

Governance
Yeadon Town Hall CIC is managed by a small board of directors, who has had an association with Yeadon Town Hall for many years. They all provide their own unique ideas and influence to the board and contribute to the running of Yeadon Town Hall through their experience.

Support
We are very grateful for the financial support and advice of Key Fund, a social enterprise investment company and in particular the Graham & Diane Smith Charitable Trust.
We are indebted to have Graham Smith on our board who adds a considerable wealth of knowledge to the CIC on a daily basis.

Leeds City Council made a significant contribution to enable us to carry out restoration of the building's exterior. Of course, our main support continually comes from our community and we are continuously grateful for the ongoing support we receive from local individuals, organisations and businesses.

Our Town Hall greatly relies on the many volunteers that help our organisation on a weekly basis to operate. We work with over 100 regular volunteers and over 500 people attend regular groups and community activities.
